ASC specialises in offering support to students with disabilities and dyslexia in Higher Education. 3. Booking and Cancellation Policy

To ensure the availability of our support services, all sessions must be booked in advance, directly between the student and the support worker. Once a booking is confirmed, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Study Skills Tutors, Mentors and Specialist Support Professionals: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Failure to provide at least 24 hours’ notice will result in a claim for the missed session, which you must confirm.
  • Specialist Note Takers and Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, and Multi Sensory Impairment Support Workers:
    • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Failure to provide at least 24 hours’ notice will result in a claim for the missed session, which you must confirm.
  • Speech-to-Text Services: Non-attendance for a scheduled session will be treated as a cancellation, and the full fee will be charged.

Support professionals are not liable for delays or inability to attend due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, accidents, or transport disruptions.
